Sunrise

Dear Ate,
Wow it's been a while since I've blogged to you. I had camp a few days ago as you know and it was really fun. Caving was teh best by far and it wasn't the kind of caving where you walk down a direct path with only minor steps up or down. It was actually pretty physically challenging and, given the choice, I would not have done it because I thought I couldn't. But I didn't get a choice. I had to keep going. And when I say climbing and physically challenging, I mean half a metre ledges attached to the wall with a one metre gap to the other side of the cave wall with a four metre drop in said gap.No harnesses. Just helmets.
On the way out of the cave there was a leap of faith of sorts where you had to swing your body across. Scariest thing ever man. Cause you can see the rocks below you and you know if you fall you'll get hurt. Badly. But yeah, my group as pretty supportive. Continuously talking down the line, letting the person behind us know where there were gaps or steep drops. It was like a really weird version of Chinese whispers. I liked it :)
Best part of camp was easily Friday morning though. A bunch of us, (like half the people who attended) woke up at 5am to watch the sunrise. It was awesome. I don't know if you've ever seen the sunrise. But the view was amazing. We were sitting on a hill and at the bottom of the hill was a river and then forest. And we watched the sun rise over the trees and it was kind of a cloudy day so we could stare at the sun for quite some time and at one point, we could see the outline of the sun and it was soo pretty.
I fell out of a billy cart on the third day. It hurt .
Oh and I got my subject sheet for next year and I got everything I wanted :)
Here are some pictures of the sunset :D
